I study societal transformations and the organisations that enable them. Processes of economic, ecological, cultural and technological change are marked by diverse institutional realities, parallel horizons of progress and contested visions of the future. My research and teaching focus on the strategic dimension of organising under these conditions. I am interested in how collective actors in adverse contexts pursue transformative agendas, and the organisational innovations that emerge from the periphery.
